a time to get away from daily concerns and focus on the inner spiritual life. Past retreat leaders included A Call to Global and Personal Transformation led by Edwina Gateley founder of Sophie’s Circle and Volunteers in Mission and Introduction to Monasteries of the Heart led by Sr. Anne McCarthy OSB.

Occasional presentations and discussion groups held between services led by the rector or parishioners. Past offerings have included: The History of the Anglican and Episcopal Church The Archangels and Mary: explorations of theology and Scripture as portrayed in art through the ages. Life Journeys: We all take different and interesting paths through life. Reflecting on our family experiences, careers, avocations, travels and inward journeys of the heart are can be an opportunity to see God’s presence in our lives. The workings of the Holy Spirit are teaching us lessons that are refine and renewing us day by day for our journey toward God. It can be equally fascinating for us to hear and share stories about our collective journeys through life. At each meeting of this group a member of our family will share with you their story
