Music
Music enhances spirituality, worship, and promotes a sense of community at Holy Trinity, as well as in the greater Oxford community. Music is an integral part of the worship service, strengthening, and reinforcing the liturgy of the day.
Our music programs include:
SERVICE MUSIC: Selecting, choosing, and programming hymns, responses, anthems, and musical selections.
CHORAL & INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLES: Create, prepare, and integrate ensembles into services and church activities.
GUEST MUSICIANS: Acquire and prepare musicians for participation in services and church activities.
COMMUNITY CONCERTS: Assist with artist acquisition, arrangements, hospitality, programs, and logistics.
ACQUISITIONS: Music, supplies, and equipment
MUSIC LIBRARY: Maintenance, filing, Annual Music and Equipment Inventory
COPYRIGHT LICENSING: Advise and acquire appropriate copyright licensing for music, print, and media required in church activities.
INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE: Arrange for needed tunings and maintenance of Holy Trinity’s Visser-Rowland pip organ, Boston Steinway Grand Piano, and electronic equipment.
