Women of Holy Trinity

Our mission is to create opportunities for fellowship – among women and parishioners of the church – and raise funds in support of local charities and mission work in our community.

We treasure the tradition of the Women of Holy Trinity. Ours has been a journey of evolution, with the role of women in the church evolving to stay relevant and viable.

From cleaning the church and preparing oyster suppers and crab cake luncheons to today’s Annual Christmas Bazaar, Plant Sale, and Women’s Fall Luncheon, we have focused our energies where we can make the most difference and accommodate the busy lives of our members, many of whom travel, maintain second homes, and work.

With input from the women of the church, we continue to explore new ways to enjoy fellowship and sustain our fundraising efforts that greatly benefit the local charities we support.

There are usually several meetings each year, and we have several fund raising events.  All proceeds raised are used for our outreach programs.  Examples of projects funded include: Camp Agape, Camp Wright, continued support for Hurricane Katrina victims, Talbot County Social Services Adults Emergency Fund, Harmony Schools in Haiti, and Talbot Mentors. See our brochure here.

Other areas of ministry under the Women of Holy Trinity umbrella include: the Altar Guild, Coffee Hour Hosts, United Thank Offering, Women’s Bible Study, Kitchen Crew, Card Ministry, Helping Hands and Hearts, and Special Receptions. Everyone is welcome, and we are always eager to have new people become involved. Come and share our Christian fellowship!
