Arrive approx. 30minutes before service. Put on name tags.

Ensure correct Bulletins available (8am or 10am). Identify if there are other handouts or sign-up
sheets. (Wear Alert pendant tbc)

Vestry Greeters – Greet outside, if weather permits, with beaming smile “Welcome to the
Church of the Holy Trinity” If new person, try to engage in brief conversation and encourage to
attend Fellowship Hour after service. Proffer Welcome leaflet.

Ushers welcome inside with Bulletins. Handle any walkers. Help with seating.

Both Usher & Greeter collect Offertory (one each side). Usher takes up collection plate up to
altar during Doxology. If there are no children at altar, place altar rail across and put central
kneeler in place.

Some help at steps may be needed during Communion.

Depending on the Congregation numbers, a second communion station may be taken at back of
church. Help may then be needed to facilitate flow (down one side, return the other side).

At end of Communion Service remove central altar rail and kneeler, allowing priest to give
communion to those who cannot make it to the rail.

During service do a head count as to how many in Congregation (everyone in the church is counted, Fr. Kevin, acolyte, ushers, greeters, Cora, choir and any musicians.)
After service, Usher counts collection, enter $ in Book in Vestry and place money with cheques in blue zipper (applicable to service time). Slide blue canvas zipper bag into slot of second
locked drawer.

Return Collection platter to back of church. Collect any bulletins left in pews and take with balance in basket to Parish Hall for recycling.

Vestry Greeters – Engage with any new congruent over coffee.

Sunday Service at 10am | 1^st Sunday 9:30am

• Please come to the Parish Hall half an hour before the service.
• Make the Coffees (caffeinated / decaffeinated) and plug in both coffee pots and the hot water pot. An ‘experienced’ helper will support every newbie.
• Set out food on platters (sweet & savory). Refrigerate as necessary.
• Set out cups, plates, napkins, creamers, tea, coco, sweeteners etc. from Kitchen supplies (Advise Margot/Connie when getting low).

• Leave the service after communion to get out cold items and uncover any platters.
• Welcome attendees as they enter – encourage to wear name tags (we ALL forget names!)
• Replenish supplies as needed.

• Begin cleanup as things wind down.
• Empty and rinse coffee pots. Rinse platters and pitchers and leave to dry.
• Wipe the tablecloths and empty the trash cans.
• Turn out the lights.
